​ Juniper on Main began as a desire to bring the mouthwatering, belly warming decadence of Southern comfort food, back home, to the heart of the Midwest.

 

Spending the early 2000's living in Savannah, Georgia, Kevin and Diane fell in love with the Southern coastal region's art, history and cuisine, while Kevin completed his master's degree of Fine Art at the Savannah College of Art and Design. The dream of Juniper was born.

 

Housed inside a lovingly restored 1907 bungalow (owned by the Keltner family for many decades), as well as a beautiful outdoor garden dining space, under the stars and twinkle lights. Experience the magic and enchantment of old Savannah right in the center of Carmel’s bustling Art’s District.

 

From enjoying, Savannah born and raised, Chef Antwan Proctor's unapologetic approach to big and authentic Low-country flavor to catching up with an old friend over a bowl of our signature Shrimp & Grits, it is our hope that you enjoy your friends and family, or a nice quiet moment to yourself over a plate of some delicious Southern fare, and find a "Dash of Southern Charm in the Heart of the Midwest".
